Madhuban Resort - Anand - 7th April 2019
Hola Riders!!!
Yet another Sunday morning (suppose to be the most awaited morning of the week) for us who share the same passion! The "us" here is a huge community of crazy people spread across the country and this passion/craziness is picking up in India at a rapid pace. We decided to have a short ride (anything under 50kms) is considered short for a Sunday breakfast ride. We were the fantastic four (Rajan, KD, Sumit and me) to flag off from Baroda and cruise into the tranquil serenity of the Madhuban Resort!! There was something new and exciting to be tested - my action camera (I recently got it to capture our rides). I got it chin-mounted on my helmet.
We started around 7 am, and the reached around 8 am at the Madhuban Resort. This was my first visit to this popular family weekend gateway resort. I like the place, it's quiet, beautiful ambiance and spread over acres of land. Our original plan was to go to the "Chai Bar" (that's the only Bar, officially allowed in Gujarat). However, we were told, it only operates between 4:00pm to 8:00pm. So, we ventured the coffee shop and had some tea/coffee and cookies. We later took a quick tour of the place, its definitely a must visit for a family getaway over the weekend. On the contrary, I found it a touch expensive for these Sunday Ride affairs!! We did take some pictures and shot a small video with my action camera!!
The return route was different, we took smaller roads and we lost track too. However, all road lead to Rome! We all reached our destination well in time!! I won't be around for the next 2 weekends for the Sunday rides and will miss the fun!!
