What triggered the Passion of Riding again!

It was my 40th Birthday!! I was blessed with an eternal surprise, by my brother-in-law. WHAT? It's a Harley-Davidson!!! I couldn't believe, it was delivered at my home. It was a dream come true (it is to most men). I always wanted to be a part of the HOG (Harley Owners Group). The surprise planning and execution of the delivery were out of this world,  it was such a pleasant shock!! I will cherish this moment all my life and can't thank Bhaiya enough, to make my dream come true!!

I got the passion for riding cruiser motorcycles as an inheritance from the legacy of my Father. He had 1978, Royal Enfield - Bullet 350, and I learned to ride motorcycles on that machine. As I grew, I always wanted to copy my Father's style and joy of riding. The wind in my hair and aviators, the very thought of these riding pleasure use to give me goosebumps. I use to ride his motorcycle often, and always wanted to own one someday. In 2007, I was a proud owner of a Royal Enfiled - Bullet 350. And, with all passion and persistence, I got it customized to match my needs and requirement. I use to indulge in riding events, weekend rides, and occasional long rides. I had the passion, madness, desire, intensity, zest to ride more, but I couldn't manage to get the time required to fulfill the riding adventures. Gradually, this passion took a back seat, and eventually, it no longer existed.

And, here were are now in 2018 (11 years from the passion for riding was short-lived), the riding madness and passion are at its all-time high. Now, I have the passion, madness, desire, intensity, zest to ride more and I am in a much better position to give TIME to live this passion!! This super amazing surprise "GIFT" triggered the passion again :) Apart from it, there are a few other aspects too that makes it possible to live this passion now Vs then.

1. I am more experienced and mature to manage my business, schedule, and family. "Balancing Act" probably defines this aspect best.
2. While I was not living the passion of riding (practically), I was still reading a lot of articles, blogs, watching vlogs from experienced riders across the globe. I have a better sense of riding styles, terrains, gears, bikes, etc. that knowledge was missing earlier. So, it's safe to consider me as an educated rider now Vs then.
3. This one is the best - Now at home, I have 2 generations who support me to live my passion. My Parents and My Kids, they are equally looking forward to my upcoming rides and encourage me to participate and be safe.

Passion never changes, its the situation that you are in changes and that probably makes your passion take a backseat for a while. Alls well that ends well, cut a long story short, this epic 40th Birthday gift and a changed life situation, once again triggered the lost passion!!

"Nothing is as important as passion. No matter what you want to do with your life, be passionate." Jon Bon Jovi

See you on the Highway!

Cheers!
